Children by Choice, not by Chance

I spent most of last evening with someone who describes herself as "socially awkward." We covered a range of topics - including the recent decree on Visa & friends surcharges.

My friend runs a niche hangout. The kind where bazzukulu aren't the target. 95% of her wealthy patrons use cash. Naturally, she doesn't give 2 Fs about enforcing the Decree. To quote her:

In the name of consumer protection, Govt wants to reap where it doesn't invest.

At some point, a reminder went off on her phone. I teased whether it was for ARVs or contraception. The latter, she cheekily responded. Added:

I am a grown-ass woman with a vibrant sex life.

That's my kinda person: children by choice, not by chance.
